Private excursion with your driver and guide
This culinary tour will immerse you in the historic community of Nang Loeng, one of Bangkok’s oldest markets, which officially opened in 1900. Here, you will explore a vibrant marketplace where vendors have been crafting traditional snacks and desserts for generations, with some recipes passed down for over 200 years. The market is renowned for its longstanding family-run stalls and an array of exquisite Thai sweets.
Our journey continues to Yaowarat, the heart of Bangkok’s Chinese-Thai community. This bustling area offers a rich blend of street life, featuring lively scenes, stunning temples such as Wat Leng Nei Yi, and a diverse array of street food. Yaowarat is famed for its Chinese cuisine, with numerous shops decorated in red and gold, offering competitive prices on delicacies including bird’s nest soup, dim sum, roast duck, and egg noodles.
We will also visit the renowned Wat Trimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses an extraordinary 700-year-old Buddha image crafted from 3.5 tons of solid gold. This remarkable statue is both a sacred artefact and a stunning example of unique artistic beauty.
What to wear
