The tour begins by visiting Wat Si-Rey (Si-Rey Temple) located on the top of a hill on Koh Sirey. Koh Sirey is an island, but you would never guess it from a map and many probably have never heard of it as it is connected to Phuket Town by a very short bridge. Enjoy the viewpoint from the temple before a visit to a Thai Mai Village (Orang Laut), a small village of sea gypsies known to have their own traditions and customs. Monkey Hill is another name for Toh Sae Hill in Phuket Town – the reason why becomes fairly obvious after a few hundred metres when you come across a troupe of macaques munching away on fruit. One of the highest hills in Phuket Town, Monkey Hill is home to a few TV and radio stations and a popular recreation spot where locals jog daily. Enjoy a local lunch before ending your day at Phuket Old Town. Today, the Old Town is a testament to Phuket’s history, but it’s also the island’s hipster heart, attracting artists and musicians in particular, which has led to noticeable gentrification. Return to the hotel. Â
